David has been picture framing for over thirty years, originally specialising in fine art and restoration, working across all medium. His interest in photography dates even further back, having for many years his own home B&W darkroom before taking a break from framing to study for a BA in Editorial Photography, full time at the University of Brighton. Nick joined Metro in 2015 and brings nearly 30 years of framing experience with him. With the framing department expanding, Nick has helped develop relationships with clients such as Michael Hoppen Gallery, Tom Oldham, and Terence Donovan Archive. “I feel my whole career has led to the opportunity to work at Metro and on such exciting and prestigious projects”.
Karl has worked in the photographic industry since 1990, initially as a studio technician, film processor, and hand printer. He won the Ilford Young Printer of the Year Award in 1992.
